Hi! I'm Ilina.

I first stepped onto a yoga mat in 2014, not knowing it would eventually lead me here.

Who ever really knows what they want to be when they grow up? I wanted to be a scientist. I wanted to be a dancer. I wanted to be a writer. These dreams changed and evolved, but one thing always stayed the same, I’ve always wanted to be a good human.

I’ve always been passionate about creating safe spaces for people to express themselves, both in body and mind. After completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training with House of Om in 2024, something I was initially drawn to for my own self-understanding and inquiry, I began one of my favourite life chapters so far: teaching yoga in my local community.

Helping humans nurture greater self-awareness – of how their bodies move and how their minds talk – is the foundation of my teaching style. I specialise in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Music and journalling are also big parts of my personal practice, so I often draw from them to inspire creative movement in class.

I’m so excited to share Bend With Friends with you.
